Daybreakers

Saw this yesterday and quite enjoyed it. It was fairly predictable, but that didn't really stop my enjoyment of the film. The story was decent enough, and i hope we get a sequel. It was nice to have real vampires back that can actually be viscious and burn in the sunlight after all that Twilight "brooding and glistening in the sun" shite. Hopefully 'Daybreakers' is a step back in the right direction for the vamp film.

I was kind of surprised at how violent it was too, especially seeing as it was edited to get the 15 rating. What they cut must have been REALLY gory.

Loved Willem Dafoe's little comments too:

"It's about as safe as barebacking a five dollar whore", lol.

very much enjoyed it.

agree with a couple of comments posted already that the vampire death scenes looked a bit cheap.

however - wasnt too impressed with very very ending - i would of prefered it if

if we saw the army vampire dudes that murdered and ate Sam Neill turn human, then they be seen encountering the general vampire population - so we start to see spread of the "human disease"

I'm debating whether to go see this for my Orange Wednesday tomorrow or Toy Story 2 3D :p - the trailer looks good, I was just wondering if people would recommend it? I like proper vampire films like Let the Right One In, and sci fi / horror.

I liked it. It's proper vampires, that combust when exposed to sunlight etc. It's also sci fi / horror and rather modern in style. Somewhat more gory than Toy Story.

i was not going to see it but went yestarday whne was late for aonther film and quite liked it:) toy story one in 3 D was not very impressive at all so i not sur eif bother with 2:(
