I think the homosexual members of your school go beyond the walls of your perfect little community. Gays and lesbians may not face much where you are, but they still feel the pain brought onto other gay and lesbian individuals, because it all still applies to them. Until something is done about it, you can never protest/inform people too much. Even a little help is a lot.

And as someone who has personally experienced discrimination, name-calling, and physical "reprimand", I can honestly say, I appreciate the efforts of your peers. Please tell them thank you for me.

That is not at all what I was saying. This situation is not like the homosexual parades where they actually stand for something. Teenagers have managed to alter this to be a gimick to get attention. It annoys the fuck out of me. And, quite frankly, I don't see how being gay makes you any more oppressed than being female.

Also, I adore how you all miss the disclaimer I posted specifically. Yay for you.

However, you ever notice how in society, its all right to refer to women as bitches and sluts, at least in modern media, but you say dike or fag and you get your ass jumped.

PS: If transgendered males really wanted to be females, women's rights would be at the top of thier list of things to do.


PPS: I'd like for everyone to remember that what I state is an opinion. It is not always the same opinion as others. Hell, it might not even be the right opinion. But, I have a right to my opinion as long as I do not commit to harm or degradation of others because of their opinions.

I don't know what society you're from, but if I said dike or fag, the only reason I'd get jumped is because the person I just called a dike or fag happens to be homophobic and takes great offense. I'm not saying woman haven't been oppressed, and comparing who has got it worse is a pretty pointless endeavor, in my opinion. Some teenagers may have altered it, but it still accomplishes its goal in a subtle way and easy to do way.
 
However, did you notice you can call men dicks/bastards/fucksticks/mother fuckers and you'll get by with it longer than going around calling women bitches, sluts, and ho's.

So, by that reasoning, I think I'm more oppressed than you women. Nobody sticks up for the white man. :ut-oh:
