Dawn Of The Dead

What one do you mean?

I'v seen the original which is brilliant and I got the remake Directors Cut which is good but just not as scary as the original.

I'd recommend the original and if you could get the remake for about a tenner then its a good buy also

The original is a classic

The remake is pants!

Shame on you Mr. Romero - you should've left well alone.

Proof that newer techniques/better effects etc. DO NOT neccesarily mean a better film.

Romero had nothing to do with the remake! (But he has made another sequel, Land of the dead, coming soon! Yay!)

The original Dawn is brilliant, a classic.

The remake is good, but very different from the original.

The remake is not as good as the original but its still well worth getting it!
I am really looking forward to seeing Land Of The Dead when it is released on the November 25th!

The remake is a decent film, mainly because it doesn't try and just copy the film into a new release.

The first is a brilliantly creepy gory film, with lost of meaning for us film students, and a big slice of comedy. The remake is an action movie with some gore and effects for the MTV generation.

If you have a choice, go for the original, but otherwise the remake is a decent film.

Sorry! - saw his name on the cover, and assumed he had something to do with it.

Seems they were only crediting him with writing the original screenplay (IMDB)

So why display his name so prominently? - a deliberate ploy to infer the he was involved maybe?

Cynical?
Moi?
Never!

LOL

Both films are good in their own way, but the original is better. It has more black humour than the remake, although I did like the remake's video camera, Blair Witch-ish ending.

I thought the start of the new one was really good but the rest of the film from when they went to the mall is utter utter rubbish.

I don't think I've seen the original
