dawn of the dead

does anyone know when dawn of the dead is coming on to dvd.i missed in the cinema.I heard it was 27th july.

The remake of Dawn Of The Dead is released on Region 2 on September 6th. If you want something to keep you going in the meantime, there's a great DVD boxed set of the George Romero Trilogy Of The Dead (including the original DOTD) out now

Watch the original first, and you'll see that the remake is no more than a pale imitation.
Poor character development, and a complete lack of the atmosphere of the original.
Better special effects, but as anyone who's seen 'Pearl Harbor' will testify - good special effects don't neccesarily mean a good movie.
