How can anyone love zombie movies? That's just wrong!

Seriously - I watched that 10 minute preview because I'm an idiot (I mean, I KNEW it was going to freak me out!) - and of course, I got freaked out! Couldn't sleep all night. *shakes head at own stupidity*

I saw this movie yesterday and I loved it. I had already seen the original, and have to say that it didnt beat that one but it sure came close. the original had me hiding my eyes for half of the movie. I only did that about three or four times during the new dawn, but I liked the charactors alot more in the remake than the old one. I cared and liked them more. I'd give dawn of the dead an A. Does anyone know if there are any avs out there for this movie?

I love zombie movies. I have seen the original Dawn of the dead and it was pretty good, but last night I saw a 10 min sneak preview of this movie on channel USA and

. I was holding my pillow the whole time. It looked really good. I cant wait to see it this weekend.

i absolutely loved this movie. there's nothing like seeing a good horror movie in a movie theater.

I'm with ya'll, it comes on and I watch it. One of the best movie remakes in the sea of movie remakes that have hit the screen over the past 5 years.

never seen the orginal, but heard it's good, some day I'll watch it or buy it..... But yeah loved the movie, just 2 more days until I can buy it

I thought Lindy "lemme so steal a truck and rescue the dog that just brought food to the now zombie marksmen guy" Booth was much, much hotter than the Monica slut. But yeah, a big chase scene where she gets eaten by CJ would've been the coolest

I have issues with zombie movies, ever since I was young (about 8 or so) and read a story about them in Haiti (it was a romantic novel, but they couldn't be stopped unless you fed them salt).

Then, years later, I saw the original, b/w Night of the Living Dead. Freaked.the.crap.out.of.me.

I doubt I'll see this one - just writing about it freaks me out.

And here's me thinking I was the only one addicted to this movie :D I love both adaptations (and all flicks like it) but the re-make just has something for me that I can't quite put my finger on. I just love it, what more can I say.

I agree. I don't like them being really slow for some reason. When they move faster it just adds more to the movie.

This was an awesome movie. I have the original on DVD and was anticipating this to see if it had a patch on the original. On one scale it supasses it being a lot more faster and adrenaline enducing whereas the original will triumph for it's brilliant cheesy B-movie-ness.

I have a quick question - there's no way in Hell I'm ever going to see this movie (scary non-zombie movies even freak me out, I can't imagine what this would do to me), but I read the spoiler. (And even the spoiler has me freaked out, too.) (SPOILER) - What was the significance of the zombie head in the cooler at the end?

I saw the movie on Tuesday, I think it was. Yeah, me of all people. I'm not good with scary movies because it doesn't take much to scare me. There were only like 5 of us in the theatre, so that wasn't cool. My friend and I were so freaked out. And I'll admit I screamed on more than one occasion. I'm a wimp, I know.

Chris, you're a sick, sick boy. *shakes head*

I just watched the first 10 minutes and WOW! I have got to go see it. It showed just enough to wet my appetite and - yes, it's a bloodbath.

Was the original good? It wasn't all corny and stuff?

I like the original much better. Definitely true about being scarried. It's not very scary if they just walk behind you and say "brains, brains" all the time, it's scary if they are running at you and flailing their arms.
