Dawn of the Dead on BBC4 tonight

I dunno if the blu-ray edition has the same features as the ultimate edition DVD, but it's worth getting (you can pick these up fairly cheaply now). 3 different cuts of the film and a disc full of extras, plus a DotD comic.
 
Ok i understand and agree, the remake is good enough, but a cheap burger compared to the more satisfying original.




I really have nothing to say, obviously a fan of cheap burgers :D
 
Which Anchor Bay dvd have you got ?
The film should have been uncut on your dvd but there are 3 different versions and the footage that gets removed is different in each version.

The exploding head was a BBFC censor cut as was the blood spurting from the womans arm so if your dvd has those missing you must have a very early dvd of it .

I got the US dvd's of it but I thought that the uncut version had been cleared by the time UK dvd's were available.

The BBC have been showing it with gore intact since the BBFC passed it
 
Trilogy of the Dead box set with an additional disc thrown in with a few featurettes on it

Tom Savini was a bit vocal on the Dawn DVD commentary about the bits that were edited out
