Hi there,

I am convinced that my datebookDB is broken.

My usual procedure to back up is to use pilot-link on my UNIX box, one day o got this:
sudo pilot-xfer -b pbk -p /dev/ttyU0

Listening for incoming connection on /dev/ttyU0... connected!

Thank you for using pilot-link.

The palm then resets itself.

I then tried using the proper windows software, the sync hangs on "syncing calendar".

I then downloaded dbfixit and ran it on datebookdb, it resets the pda.

I then used filez to try to move the file to a different filename to diagnose the problem further. Guess what happens..... Yeh the TX resets.

There is an awful lot of data in the pda which i dont want to lose and i have been infrequent backup up (doh. lesson learnt). The calendar app does still work, so atleast I could write down all the info and reinput after a hard reset.

Does anyone have any ideas before I do that?

Thanks
