"Date Ending" for T3 DIA "add-on?"

Friend of mine just got his T3 - does he need the updates regarding AppSlip Rotate and StatusBarLibrary?

Wouldn't they have been "updated" in ROM by now to 1.1 instead of the older 1.0, or does he still need to install?

Also, he's reasonably safe from the SD Card mess, right? Probably made after October 2003, so OK? He syncs with Outlook and wants to use VersaMail - I've told him to register here and do searches on the threads.

I'm curious myself, however, about the appslip/statusbar DIA's.
 
The updated status lib and app slip programs were not part of the flash update to the T3 for the SD card issue.

I doubt that they are included since the two files are not part of the original ROM flash. Besides even if they are your friend can try and install the updated files and if they are "older" they won't install anyway....they will show up in the log as "already installed".
