Data without BIS

Question... I just got my BIS turned off so I could afford a better voice plan but TCP data still works. Opera Mini and Jive Talk both still work fine, am I going to charge up my bill if I use them?

You might. Someone has posted recently that TMO has done something about this lately, to the detriment of BB users.
 
I'm limited to using the WAP access to rabroad and finding and posting a link to that post is difficult. If I can find it, I will post it.

Well, that was all the same day that I had my BIS turned off. It doesn't work anymore, sadly, but there were no fees incurred. Damn, I wish somebody would piss off all the phone companies and create a free APN, wouldn't that be wonderful? Okay, expensive and unlikely, but wonderful none the less. My TCP connection worked until I rebooted my handset, but now every time something attempts to use TCP my connection terminates and I have to reboot my berry just to get back on the network. TMO has some silly patches in there system, they could do better and get a new dev team... I don't like having to reboot my berry every time they think I am trying to use data. Damn I miss my mobile internet though!
 
well at least your with tmobile I think they are still the cheapest for data plans if you ever decide to go back to it.
