Data says there may be a Goonies animated series coming

This is actually old news. They tried to make this an animated series quite a while ago. I don't know where to find it, but there actually was a production photo. And that was about all the surfaced. Warners thought that making a cartoon knockoff of Spongebob was a higher priority.

I hope it's the case, but that's as likely as Bakura ever getting the chance to be Corey Feldman whenever Tristan and Tea invite him along to play Goonies.

I don't why but a Goonies series seems a bit out of the blue for me.

I'm surprised we never got a Goonies animated series in the 80's when all the major film properties getting the animated treatment (Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, An American Tail, etc.)
