I'm thinking of replacing my aging Moto 720 FreeUp phone with a PDA/phone combination. I also want to have high speed unlimited data (so EDGE or EV-DO, I guess) and the ability to run 'ssh' sessions from the phone (I see someone has ported putty to Windows mobile). Currently I'm torn between Verizon or T-Mobile (both networks have good discounts with my employer) and the HTC Wizard or the Treo 700 (not sure whether 'p' or 'w').
However, I've heard that it may not be possible to have data and voice at the same time. If I have an ssh session open would that block incoming voice calls?
What device and network would people recommend? What limitations should I expect?
