dash or pearl?

so i'm deffinitely sticking with t-mo.
i'm deffinitely getting a smart phone.
i had decided for a while on the blackberry pearl, i played with one in a t-mo store a few times and i preferred it over the dash because of it's form.
now i'm starting to think the dash would benefit me more as a student with wifi and the office suite built in... anyone have any advice?
 
I prefer the Blackberry Pearl. I had the HTC S620 (unbranded version of the T-Mobile Dash) and I found it to be a little less user-friendly than the Pearl. Web browsing and email on the Pearl seems to be great to me. What specific features are you looking for?
 
If you plan on doing a lot of text, then you might not like the SureType on the Pearl. There are people who love and those who hate it. Many say it is hard to get used to. Personally, I prefer the QWERTY style since I really couldn't adjust to SureType.
 
yea when i played with the pearl i wasn't too thrilled with the keyboard.
feature wise i'm just looking for a smartphone that's as good as a phone as it is with the internet browsing and messaging and is easily customizable. maybe a notepad or something, but i know both have one.

i'm not entirely techno-savvy so maybe the pearl would be better?
 
Its a smartphone. The only reason its unique among smartphones is its email system. I would go dash in this case. If you don't like the Pearl keypad then thats a big draw back (since thats what you use most of the time), plus the Wi-Fi can be very useful.
