dash illumination problems after installing cd player in jeep?

i got a 93 jeep cherokee and i put in a sony deck, i did everything right with the harness and everything else, the harness has the illumination wires but there isnt any on the deck..so everything works except when my dash isnt supposed to be illuminated it is, but when i turn the headlights on, they go off...where do I connect these wires to?
