Darvocet addiction?

Hi, I had a question for anyone that may have experienced stopping Darvocet after taking them for a few months. My good pal has had trouble with his ankle mending after a fracture back in April. They gave him Vicodin 5/500 initially, then he switched to Darvocet 100/500 because of itching. He took about 5-6 daily for about 4 months and his pain has gone nearly away. He wants to stop the Darvocet but wondered about WD's. He goes to see his doc next week, but wondered how he'd do just stopping them at once. I told him I'd find some info from this site because nobody knows better than others who have been there. Thanks, Jackbeanstalk
 
Darvocet is a very weak opiate, I wouldn't imagine the withdrawal would be too bad. As far as opiate strength darvocet's aren't much more than tylenol.
