darn cyst!

I've had this big red cyst on the very tip of my nose and i've been very patient with it.. but weeks go by and it seems like it's landed and not going anywhere anytime soon, i'm probably going to cut my nose off. I currently been taking 20mg of accutane and everything is going good until it landed. My face has been healing wonderful except that one very spot where I woundn't want a zit, appears. About the second week, I try this redless relief from proactiv and it only made it worse (not a surprise). I try being very calm with myself, but it seems the frustration is getting the best of me. I dont know what to do or think, I'm very frustrated.

Don't really have any advice to offer you, but I totally sympathise! Cysts are the worst, I hate the way they hang around. Just remeraber NOT to get tempted to squeeze, no matter how frustrating it is! hopefully if you're on accutane you''ll get cleared up soon, good luck!!! ;)
 
42 days. cant believe its still there... i've been doing the asprin mask almost every night but seems its not helping what so ever.. i seriously think im losing my mind, i dunno what to do. i go out everyday in public and im always self conscious about myself, i cant be myself anymore..its horrible. my parents wont take me to the derm because they say its getting to be too much money from my meRAB which i cant complain. its true.

going on 32 days with this ***** on my ******* nose!! i think it might be there forever..
 
Hi, wow that sucks. I need some advice from you though!! My complexion is getting better since I started on Tazorac, but I am getting what I "think" are cysts but when I look up the definition, I'm not sure if that's what they are. They start out small but get big very fast, about the size of a dime but there is no "head" and dare I squeeze to relieve the pressure, it's only "water" (oil?) that comes out, never anything white. They are super painful and I usually get them on my chin and sometimes on my forehead (never on my nose, thankfully! sorry). Also, they takes weeks to go away. :( Are these cysts?? Thank you!
 
from what i heard they are cysts.. but i know cysts are very deep under the skin so its very hard to get rid of but some say they stay there permanently unless you get it removed by a doctor.

I know theres another word for them except i cant remeraber. all i know is that it ******* sucks. why couldnt it be anywhere but my nose!!:mad:

How do you get rid of yours???
 
Awwwww I m so sorry you're still suffering. Unbelievable how long they last. I had one on my cheek last year for about 3 months. I promise, they DO go way, it just takes time and you need to leave them alone (I didnt, and mine scarred).

If you cant go to your derm, can you just go to your regular doctor about it? Maybe get some antibiotic or something?
