Just watched this film this afternoon on the pc and..... wow! It is a cracking horror film! Remember when you were a kid and when one of your teeth came out you used to put it under your pillow and wait for the tooth fairy to take it away and leave you money? You never did see the tooth fairy did you? When you see this film you'll know why you weren't supposed to see it !!

It hit the cinemas in the US on 24th January 2003 and according to the BBFC's website who passed it uncut a few weeks ago - it isn't due to open here until 1/11/2003 ! This date must be wrong as I can't imagine there being that much of a delay.

According to sky movies interactive pages the film is actually out later than that on 22/11/03. These sort of movies do tend to have real long lead in times in the UK as of Halloween usually, but mid november is a bit odd. It seems this movie is going to be a bit like Donnie Darko last year and Blair Witch in 2000, where the DVD's were availible in the States either on the date of UK cinema release like Blair Witch, or in the case of Donnie Darko and probably this too a good 6 months before the UK date. I'm already looking to pre order Darkness Falls before it's expected April/May release date- so I'll be happy!!
 
the imdb still have it for a november release... i trust them at this point... BBC is just run by a bunch of monkeys who could research a piss up in a brewery,
