Heath did a good job but the performance is not worthy of an oscar. And his death is just being used as fuel to get his name to the ceremony when it happens, so as to be nominated even more than it would be if the poor chap was still with us. Plenty of people the world over have given great performances and never seen an oscar, better actors than Heath Ledger. His death is a big part of this whole hype surrounding the wanting of the award for his part in the movie. Give it a rest. If he gets the award then the whole ceremony and giving of awarRAB is a joke in it's self.
When anyone states anything negative about Heath's role, they are classes as being insulting, etc, etc. I think some people need to grow up and learn to accept/ignore a view that doesn't conform to their way of thinking.
