DARK KNIGHT ENDING DISCUSSION. *SPOILERS

i still can't believe how quickly they killed off racheal

it almost maddens me, they spent so long building that character up, than bam, just died in the middle of a few action sequences.

i liked how this movie dealed with a more dynamic aspect of batman: he can be a savior but also the scapegoat and gotham city's whipping boy. the transformation of dent into two face was very well done. when watching the situation he was put in with rachel, you could understand why he cracked. the joker was a great character because he had the ability to disturb the audience and also make them laugh at the same time. i got chills when he was explaining his scar story the second time, i was thinking to myself "man this fucker is on another planet, there is nothing he won't do"

i couldn't sit still man... the whole movie i just couldn't wait for what was coming next!
lil sad that i saw the two face spoiler pictures, woulda been much more dramatic when he turned if i didn't

i realized they didn't show a couple of scenes that were in the trailers ie joker saying "KILL THE BATMAN" in the look/way he did. and then when hes slowly walking and pops out the knife. also, from the trailer, when joker says "you're just a freak, like ME" shows him standing from far away, and then "lets put a smile on that face" then turns around and looks sideways for a lil bit. those were all missing

Well they built that up through the interrogation sequence, and Joker forced him to make a choice.

It was very Two-Face-like, in a sense. Make a choice between 2 things.

The movie confirmed it.

When Joker gave the addresses in the interrogation room, he said Rachel was at Avenue X, and Dent was at 252nd st or something like that. Then while Gordon was in the police car, he kept saying 252nd St. over the radio to the other cop cars. It was the old switcheroo when you saw Batman show up to Dents, you knew Joker played him.

Bale has allegedly signed on for two more movies. End the third movie like you said, give Batman a comeback/revenge in the 4th, and you've got some serious potential.

clayface would make a cool villan, but he was annoying as shit in the cartoons... how can you kill someone who can mold himself into ANYTHING?
I just liked the story on how he came to be, one of my fav episodes from the animated series. I can see Nolan doing something really creative for that one...
