DARK KNIGHT ENDING DISCUSSION. *SPOILERS

just remembered one of my favorite lines:
"so there is a billionaire vigilante out there beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands.... and your plan is to blackmail this man?
good luck."

i also loved that they gave the joker no back story. if they would have, they would have given him an angle of humanity. instead...the dude was a fucking crazy psycho heartless bastard.

ya i think two-face's part was too small. it was like one second he's harvey dent and the next second his face is burned and he's two face. like he just all hte sudden had his half-half suit in the next scene with no transition.

they either should have made him a more significant character or left him out all together. what they should have done is given him a small part as just harvey dent in this one and left the next movie for two-face.

Uh, both sides of the coin were heads at that time, so he knew every time that he was going to get heads and not kill the guy. Harvey Dent wouldn't kill someone like that until he becomes two-face. The flipping the coin was just to scare the shit out of the guy to get him to tell him about the Joker.

At first I thought the story to the black dude was the real reason why, but when he began talking to Rachel, it made him all the more badass.

The Riddler would be one of the only "big" villains left to do that could be done somewhat seriously and still be true to the comics.

And I don't want to hear anymore about Killer Croc, that shit will never happen while Nolan and Bale are doing this series.

Completely awesome movie. The only thing I was pissed about was the fact that they gave away a huge spoiler in the trailers. Now, anyone with a brain knew they didn't really kill off Gordon. But by killing him before the scene with the Joker in the cell, anyone who had seen that preview instantly knew 100% that he wasn't dead.

That aside...the movie was unbelievably well done.
