DARK KNIGHT ENDING DISCUSSION. *SPOILERS

Watched it again last night...and I gotta say I am no longer disappointed

I honestly think the first time around I was SO hyped up and didn't expect that much of twoface toward the end so it was all a blur toward the end for me.

This time around it all fit much better and god damn I wanna see it again.

even from the beginning with the bank heist... you knew the joker was messed up when he had them all killing one another and pulled the pin of the gas grenade with the bus

But its not like it was a horrible movie or anything

I'd definitely give it 7-8/10. Superb acting. I just wanted to see a bit more of batman

its kind of like the empire strikes back, everything was left in ruin

Maybe in the third movie the trilogy can be completed, and batman can be victorious.

I heard complaints about the look as well, and all that, but it looked pretty disturbing which is what made it effective for me. They could also show him from the burned side every time he flipped out, that'd be effective.

Pure set up would be nice, but with that ending where they preserve his legacy, death was the only choice.

Just give me 30 more minutes and concentrate the action between Batman and Two Face.

I agree that it's not perfect, but Two Face was decent for me, mainly because we know who Dent is and all that.

ah, earlier poster is right...you are retarded

for the millionth time, these latest two movies are completely separate and unrelated to any other batman franchise

Absolutely not.

Batman, incorruptible. Joker is angel of chaos. Dent right in between and gets corrupted when his softest spot gets hit. He's like the opposite of American History X. Instead of going from Bad to good, he goes in the opposite direction. From pure and good, into dark and vengeful.

His turn into Two-Face happened too soon, and I agree, but once he settled into his coin flipping monster he was fine and not forced at all. He broke down when he was pushed to his limits unlike Batman.

His story was tragic and it seemed like the centerpiece of the action character-wise. Because Batman's and Joker's characters don't really change, but Two Face is the character with the story arc in this movie. Setting him up for 2 hrs was done to make us know exactly who he was before he flipped just like his coin.

The only problem I had tho' was that his flip happened too quickly and I wanted to see at least 30 mins more of his shenanigans : /

i agree completely, the transformation into two face seemed incredibly forced and rushed. And him killing the people who killed rachel, and killing the random driver is a completely different story...

I'm hoping two face is dead. He's had his role, we don't need to see him again.
