OK so a few months ago, I dyed my naturally dark brown hair to a lighter brown shade. Well, now the color has become a little distorted and looks orange. My natural colored roots are starting to show and I tried to get a box color similar to my natural shade to go over the orange. I left the dye in for quite some time but when I washed it out and it dried, I saw that the color didn't change at all. So I tried it again a few weeks later, but it still wouldn't dye over the orange. Any tips on what to do? Thanks if you can help!
