Daria DVD- Will the theme song be included?

This really worries me. We know the show music will be replaced, but, what about the theme song?

And The Dariaworld app on facebook has an episode with only a title card?

So, will the episodes have the theme song?

I received the complete series DVD set of MTV's The State for Christmas, and there was an ad for the Daria DVD on it, with the theme music included. Unless something happened since then, I don't see why the Daria DVDs couldn't use the show's theme.

Splendora was the band who did the theme song for the series, like the Refreshments did the theme to King of the Hill, and that theme is played on the DVD sets. So the Daria theme should be on DVD. The song was played in the end of bonus Daria episodes on the TV movie DVDs, replacing the regular songs.

Why wouldn't it be on there? It was written for the show. It's all the other songs being replaced that dissapoints me. Never use popular songs as incidental music without working out rights first, I guess.

Just a little note, MTV2 has stated on facebook they are gonna air some episodes.
