Daredevil

I watched it (again) last night, but only 'cos I had nothing better to do.

Watch it if you've had all your other neeRAB taken care of.

Directors cut is worth watching, feels the better film with it's bits n bobs added on, normal version is a bit pants tho...no idea which version the BBC showed? :)

I just saw the directors cut. Now, I still didn't think it was that good, mainly because it's like they just copied Frank Millers stuff... badly.
If you've read the original material then the stuff with his father and Ben finding out Matt's identity (and burning his notebook at the end) is that much more meaningful.
A complex character to put across on the big screen (though numerous comics artists have failed too). Hopefully we'll see a better DD next time.

I liked Daredevil, preferred the original release to the director's cut too somehow, although most people seem to prefer the director's cut... I just thought it went on a bit too much when they added more stuff in, it was good as it was.

To my mind, the directors cut rescues the movie. The cinematic release is stripped of the complexity of plot an character development. The DC is infinitely better.

Generally I find all the Marvel adaptations very entertaining, but have to say Daredevil bored me. Probably because I have never found him that engaging as a stand alone character, only when he made guest appearances in Spider-man etc.

Still the film is better than the yawnfest that is Electra (such a missed opportunity) and Ghost Rider which I just can't get into
