Danny Antonucci and John K should do a movie

John K said in a blog comment that Danny Antonucci is a friend of him and that he liked "Lupo the butcher". No idea about what he thinks of EE&E.

From what I can judge by reading interviews, Danny seems to be even more "curmudgeon" than John in his thoughts, but he's not mainstream. He hates Flash and everything remotely digital.



I think it was in relation to something he said in this interview ("Then there are some [cartoons] that are just... I'm not going to name them, but they look like three-year-olds draw them"), but he didn't referred to any particular show.
 
... I'm starting to feel like I should add Danny to my "People I Want to Meet" list.

I don't hate Flash though, I just wish that people would use the program to its full potential instead of doing only slightly better than a high school student's internet flash.

From what I know from Danny (which are video interviews actually), like I said, he's more relaxed and fun-loving than John K. seems to be. Though, thank you Atoon for clearing that up. I can't imagine John K. hating Lupo the Butcher or EEnE... doesn't quite make sense since the style shares some qualities to John's.
 
You do know that John K. knew Bob Clampett very well back when Bob was still alive and John was starting his career?

And I'm starting to wonder whether John really disliked Ed, Edd n Eddy or not.
 
Not to get too off-topic, but who was the guy who used to post here who had a Hare+Guu avatar? He was an animator for a flash cartoon, and I'm asking because it seemed like the only cartoon he didn't complain about was Ed, Edd, n Eddy.

 
Killtacular, who I linked to previously in the thread. And not to get too off topic, but for the record, there were many other cartoons he liked.
 
It would be nice to see the two in a collaboration. Their ideas and animation could easily influence this and the next generation. If the two did come together though, Danny would have to be veeeeeeeeery patient, and even if they finish the job, Danny would likely think the experience was more trouble than it's worth.
