I've been using my mobile phone since I was 11 (I am now 21) and I'm now concerned that I've been dangerously overexposing my brain to harmful radiation. I have on occasion used my phone for over an hour and I'm worried I've now caused damage.
If I was to switch to a handsfree headset as of today and used that from now on would any damage to my brain inflicted by the radiation of my past usage have a chance to mend itself?
Also If I continued with hands free as of today would I be safe from developing a brain tumour caused by mobile phones, or is the 'damage done' and it could develop now at anytime?
Please note I don't have any symptoms, I also know that brain tumours could happen from other circumstances. I'd just like to know that if I cut down my usage from today am I making myself safer? Also will my past usage have any dangerous affects to my future?
Sorry for the complicated question!! I appreciate anyone's advice.
