OK, according to the commentaries that's why Maude was killed off. MR left the show.

A friend of mine said Tress MacNeille tried but she couldn't replicate Maude's voice. But I don't know if that's true.
 
I watched it. There were funny parts, but I wasn't sure what to think of the episode overall. I liked the cereal killer video game. I liked Bart and Lisa. I love little Bart and Lisa. They're so cute.

I was talking to my mother tonight, and she was shocked they made new episodes.

I'll try to try to think of more stuff.
 
That was a funny scene love how he was preventing them from sneaking off into one another's rooms :lol:

I got a bit creeped out as well when Ned was turned on by Maude wearing her dead grandmothers pjs :lol: :no:
 
In the scene where Ned is preventing Homer and Marge from sneaking into one another's rooms, he placed some small trap to catch her sneaking out. I can't remeraber exactly what it was. Then he goes to Homer's door and places a bear trap - huge compared to what Marge had. That was a funny scene.

Then I got creeped out by Maude wearing her dead grandmother's flannel nightgown/pjs.
 
According to the plot, they wouldn't have known them except for the fact that they picked Marge and Homer, who were hitching a ride.
 
I was able to see part of the episode but fell asleep in the middle of it. Is this another case of discontinuity? Did the Simpsons really know the Flanders for 20 years?
 
A family summer vacation trip to a cabin motel brings back memories of earlier trips from twenty years ago, when Homer and Marge were picked up by newlyweRAB Ned and Maude (who made them sleep in separate rooms), and five years ago, when they arrived with different partners.
