Dan Castellaneta & Co.: the voices of Springfield

It would be interesting to see how they record the voices, I would love to have the chance to see them in the recording studio.

My brother and the me that other day were talking about how cool would it be to do voices for a TV show that it would be a cool job to work in.

It's been a couple months since I've seen the S8 DVRAB, but I thought the people commenting on one episode mentioned that Hank Azaria was doing Spamalot.

Dan was on Monday's episode of the new Fox series The Good Guys. He played a character who was consistently referred to as the world's worst get away driver.

OMG!!!! Thank you sooo much!! That was hilarious! Barney trying to bootleg the session  and Grandpa, "What are we supposed to do?" :lmao:

The song is hysterical!

Wow.... this guy is FREAKIN talented!!!!!

That's what I was wondering too. You'd think that it would be very straining on their voice if they have to keep switching voices when recording a whole scene. I would love to sit in on a recording session, it'd be really interesting!

Hmm, I wonder when an actor recorRAB multiple voiceovers do they complete the dialogue for a single character then go onto the next or a single scene with the various characters?

I remeraber seeing Yeardley in As Good As It Gets. Yeah her voice is pretty much the same as Lisa's :)

I just downloaded the track, listening to it now

I had to look up the voices Hank did:

Moe
Apu
Chief Wiggum
Professor Frink
Dr. Nick Riviera
Comic Book Guy

I think you're right Liz - he sounRAB most like Moe, maybe a cross between Moe and Comic Book Guy, if CBG spoke lower.

I remeraber Hank and Yeardley from Herman's Head too...I used to watch the show and it does seem like a lifetime ago

I mostly see Dan in guest star work...like he was in an episode of Married With Children...and I believe he was once in one of those Syfy movies
