The vid? i'd have to see the lyrics to see if the costumes and all were telling the story, or if they went off in another direction. Sometimes, when i don't 'get it,' i'll watch the vid with no sound and try to imagine the story that is being told.

Unfortunately, most of the time, the conclussion i have to come to is that the band thinks life's a joke!!! :rofl:

According to the little info box that pops up at the beginning of the video the band is called Prefab Sprout and the song is called "The King of Rock 'n' Roll".

Yep; it's the first track on From Langely Park To Memphis. Decent album, but Two Wheels Good/Steve McQueen is far better.
