Damaged SUV .... the Mazda was totaled?

I was rear-ended by a Mazda Tribute (which got totaled) and it is over 8,000.00 of damage to my Subaru Tribeca...two things I would like to ask... I have lost the value of my vehicle if I ever want to sell it or trade it in, because of this accident! How can I recoup this loss????I did get a rental car with Nationwide (this is his insurance) telling me stay below $30.00, so now I am in this car and it's ok but not my SUV no pets allowed in the car...and really not comfortable in this car, that's why I had bought a SUV and been driving that for 3years...but I know to rent an SUV is 92.00 per day so the insurance company is def. making out while I am banged up and bruised with pulled muscles! Can anyone tell me what are my rights, etc.. I have limited tort, live in the State of PA, and will have to go to physical therapy for my shoulder, etc..
