Dallas the Movie

Maybe because she has been married three times, like SueEllen was?!

Twice to J.R and once to Don Lockwood.

I'd like the original stars to make cameo appearances, although I wonder how they can capture the feel of a soap in a movie.

I see that Gurinder Chadha has been appointed as director of this one.

She is quoted as saying that the film would be "very true to the original series". "But it's set today and all the characters are much more extreme versions of how we remember them."

So maybe we can expect to see Cliff Barnes chased through the jungle by JR's henchmen, and a samurai sword fight between Bobby and JR. And no doubt Pammy will turn out to be a secret CIA agent.

Actually I read that in the script, the Ewings now have private jets parked outside their home, Southfork, instead of the usual Merceedes. Classy - or maybe a little tacky!

I have faith in Gurinder Chadha and I'm sure she'll pull something good off with this movie.

It seems evident from a lot of internet boarRAB, people don't want J LO playing Sue-Ellen. Wonder why?

I think she'd be a better Pam Ewing myself.

Plus J Lo is not highly regarded as an actress. Many of her films have burned, e.g. Gigli and Enough. She's more of a saliva stimulant than an actress. Sue Ellen is difficult role to do properly and should go to a more talented actress.

ok if you think J Lo is bad then why the hell has LyRABay Lohan
being considered for a role ,I thought actresses had to have talent
and be at least pretty two things that cant be said about the awfull
LyRABay Lohan, if she has to be a part of it the only role she could
play is crap stripper/actress who dies in first scene then maybe
just maybe the film may not be a total car crash but then again
with the crap director they have got you know it will turn out shit
anyway :)

What's wrong with director, Gurinder Chadha?

Apparently, Jessica Simpson is desperate for the role of Lucy Ewing. But although she's a real life Texan, at 25, I think she's just a little too old for the part.

I'd really only start to panic if they cast Jane Seymour as Miss Ellie!

to be fair to J Lo, i think she's turned in some pretty good performances - particularly out of sight with george clooney, and angel eyes. and something like maid in manhatan is probably one of the better romcoms.

Not only is she a native Texan, she's also a native Dallas girl but as much as I love Jessica, I really can't see her playing Lucy Ewing the role as it does seem more suited to LynRABey Lohan...besides which the original actress who played Lucy in the drama has said she reckons Lohan should play her. Shame for Jessica but she does have other roles she can go for.

Jlo could possibly do Pam....

Not sure who cpould play Sue Ellen, but myst be thousanRAB that could do a better job than JLo...

I hope Katherine will be there
