For the past month he's been acting really... I don't know. It's like he has Alzheimer's or something. He says he hears voices, he sees an old man in the house even though there's no one here but me, my mother and him. He pisses on himself about 10 times a day and I'm not exaggerating. He went through exactly 10 pairs of underwear today. He's constantly trying to leave the house and go out driving. He'll sometimes get really mean and just start cussing at us, and when we're trying to tell him that he's sick he says that we're both full of sh*t. He won't let us call an ambulance and he refuses to go to the hospital.
I know this doesn't sound like much, but he wakes my mother and I up constantly by prowling around getting into stuff and opening up the doors while the alarm is on. I think we've both had like 4 hours of sleep in the past 3 days and we're just not able to take care of this man. What should we do? We brought it up to the doctor and requested a nursing home and the doctor just laughed as if it was a joke, and when we told him that we weren't joking he said "I'll see what I can do" and just laughed.
