I Have a red light behind and a light in front, a helmet. etc., but my dad says that I can't ride on the roads because it's too dangerous. I've told him that it's safer to ride on the streets because cars can see you easier on the street and you don't have to worry about pedestrians. My dad says that it's safer to ride on the sidewalk because there aren't too many pedestrians on the roads (live in the suburb). how can I persuade him to let me ride on the streets.
P.S I'm 14.
those are some good points mtl. My dad doesn't ride too much. I ride every day to my band practice (there and back). I've tried explaining to him but he says he doesn't care if i get a ticket (he said he'd pay for it).
