D600 or W810i - which should I keep?

I searched but the other thread on this topic was not very active.

I have both phones in my possession.

I grabbed the D600 (used) because I thought it might be a while before I could get the W810i but it was in stock two days later!

--------- D600 ---------

The D600 was $340 and mint condition. I used a FS gift card to get a 1 GB microSD card.
Pluses:
Screen is the best I have seen
BT is really fast on this phone
Picsel viewer
Uncommon
Active firmware hacking community (I love hacking stuff)

Cons:
Samsung software - not intuitive
No IR
Camera has no autofocus
Side mounted headphone jacks
No warranty
No EDGE

--------- W810i ---------

The W810i was $475 new from a Rogers dealer and comes with a 512 MB Duo Pro.
Pluses:
SE Software is great
Autofocus camera
Walkman MP3 player (well integrated)
FiR port (my work laptop only has IR port)
Can work with any headphones
Warranty
Rogers settings pre-installed
EDGE

Cons:
More expensive
Lower resolution screen
There will be a lot of them around soon

Am I missing anything?

I played around with the W810i today and found that it really isn't a better phone than the D600.

The camera quality was about the same in my testing - despite the D600's lack of autofocus. This was surprise.

The W810i screen is horrible compared to the D600. You really notice the W810i's low rez after looking at a few PDFs on the D600.

The music players are pretty close. Sony's is better, but version 2.0 on the newer SE phones looks really good and beats them both.

Firmware hackers have cleaned up some of Samsung's obtuse interface decisions. Getting custom firmwares is relatively easy.

I found a couple more things to like about the Samsung D600 - some of these points apply to other models too:

1. Samsung Fun Club - reward program that is free to join.

2. Awesome community website with free movies, music videos, etc.

3. Free blogging software and service

D600 all the way; like you said, it is SO uncommon in the States. I dont see the need for Edge on the d600, because it doesnt have a keyboard. With the HTC Wizard I see the need.

Keep the d600.

This was a reply to a troll by the way - his post was deleted by a modzilla.

Yeah, I have kept the D600. Both the D600 and the W810i are awesome phones.

Thats tough, i was gonna say, if youre really hung up on the mp3 player function then sell the D600 but if youre lookingg for a completel package, sounds like you've already made up your mind.

Has any of the firmware upgrades contain airplane mode for the D600? After using a phone with airplane mode on a 14 hour flight... I realized how useful it is.

Each phone as their pros and cons but... to me the advantage for W810 is the airplane mode.
