Cymbalta....

Deb, I'm trying hard NOT to read all the literature that came in the Cyrabalta package. I want to find out the side effects without any preconceived thoughts about them. But I wanted to ask you, I think you had said the Cyrabalta actually did well for you, didn't you? You're coming off it because of the nerve issues? I'm reading only negative things about this drug, which is a bit disconcerting, as I just started it.

My doctor gave me 30 mg capsules to start, then 60 mg to go to after a week. So far, just a little nausea the first couple of days. I'm feeling more tired than usual, but I also had to up my pain meRAB the last few days, so I don't know which is causing it. Other than that, I just feel a little weird. Don't know how to describe it.

Deb, I am so thankful that you are feeling back to normal. I am glad that the doctor(s) devised a better plan to wean you off of the Cyrabalta. I pray that your new medicine will help relieve your nerve pain. Good for you for canceling the upcoming visit with your PM doctor. He should of done some research himself to come up with an actual plan to wean you off of the Cyrabalta, which is some serious medicine to come off of. Please continue to feel better and keep us updated!

Still a little dizzy today, nauseous and shaky...but what a difference from yesterday! Cyrabalta back in the system ;) I feel like a junkie :D , got my fix!!
I'm in a lot of pain today and my lower back hurts so bad which is unusual for me. I think it may be that I've had to just lay on the sofa for 3 days as the dizziness was so much worse in an upright position. Hopefully I can walk a little today and work it out.

I slept for awhile.....still disoriented, feel very strange, brain cold, fatigue. I did a search on the addiction board and was glad (well not glad that someone else has dealt with this) to see that others are having the same issues. Evidently there are even law suits out there regarding discontinuation of the drug. of course the pain is bad today because I haven't wanted to take anything else to make me worse.

I can only say that a higher power has brought you to me today. I was sobbing as I read your post. I feel so awful but you have given me hope that I can and will get through this. Any movement at all and I feel as though I am falling, my head hurts so bad and I am so disoriented. I have been on cyrabalta since Noveraber.

Hi Ladies,

I took 20mg of Cyrabalta and no other drugs for months with great success. Then I found out I was pregnant and quit cold turkey with no problem at all. After having the baby I started back on 20MG and then tried to up to 30MG but no can do...had the dizzy, disoriented weird feeling. I think I am med sensitive but back at the 20mg I am fine. I feel good about it at this dose. Are any of you taking additional prescription meRAB other than the Cyrabalta? I'm wondering if there could be interactions there too. Thanks and good luck.
