cydia crash on iphone 3gs 3.1.3 help

hi everyone, I have an iphone 3gs 3.1.3 and I used spirit to jailbreak it. After that, I tried to update cydia but it did not respond. So I restarted the phone. Since then, everytime I tried to open cydia, it will crash and close down so the phone goes back to home screen. I am hoping to access the root directory to remove some files as suggested somewhere in the forum to fix the crash. However, I don't have afc2add installed on the phone. Anyone has a solution for me to add afc2add to the iphone without using cydia?

jailbreak it once again using Spirit, cydia will work 100%

try also to reset your iphone and jailbreak it again

I checked and I think it only works if afc2add is installed.

u just saved ur self never try to reset the iphone in any case

95 percent it will stuck at apple logo

Are you sure? iphone reseted at its factory default cannot effect phone
not an-least its not done resetting,you turn it offand not wait'ng to boot up
