To me, "Scotch" is the way I wish the show could be in showing a way to integrate Vanessa into multiple plotlines, and how she could have been better showcased, post Chuck-tryst. Sometimes I feel like the writers, et. al., have a hard time knowing how to best use Vanessa, and in "Scotch," Frannie has such a nice way of writing V. and having her have her own voice and purpose. (And doing it w/out making Chuck too nicey-nicey or Blair an "uber-bitch" is great, too.) I can't wait 'til she works on it again.
