Would that make it a quarter stack? Anyway, I have a piece of crud Crate that I got a few years ago. The grill is rusting, bottom left speaker is out, bottom right is about to go, however, the top two are fine (it's a 4x12). The basic idea behind this madness is that it is pretty much dead weight as a half stack. Half of it barely works. The top two were replaced and are in good shape. I want to buy a 2X12 and sell this thing, but I don't know who's gonna buy it in the shape it's in. I'm not going to ship it anyway. So I just want to see if this works. Worst situation/ I'm out a few hundred for a 2X12 but have 2 pretty good speakers. So do think this will work? If yes, how should I do it, will the impedence level change, and what does the new circuitry look like? If no, what should I do?
