Cute way to ask guy to a dance?

My school's winter dance is on Feb. 14th and it's a girl's choice so the girls ask the guys..
I'm wanting to ask this guy, and I know he'll say yes, I just want to do it in a cute way.
If anyone has any good ideas on how to do this please let me know.
Oh and if you're going to say 'Just go up and ask him' save it.
I want it to be special.

Get a white t-shirt and write and draw on it and say will you go to the dance with me or something.
 
slip a note in his locker that says, "Do you want to go to the dance with me?" then tell him to respond by putting a note in your locker (give him the #) then send another note saying, "meet me (here) at the dance." it would be so cute, good luck. :)
