Custom Sub Box For Cobalt Help!?

My buddy and recently installed a jbl 10" in his car, just in a normal bassworx box, i would now like to somehow turn the bottom of the trunk into the box. http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/W/U/11_07cobalt_ls_trunk.jpg

there is a cloth mat in there that give an exact outline of the trunk, what would our best bet be for good looks and sound results :)
 
Your going to have to relocate the battery and spare tire, they are both in the way.

Anyways, the best thing to do is make a fiberglass box, use the bottom of the trunk as the mold, and then just have it flat.
