Custom ringtones for sony ericsson z550a

I was wondering if there was a piece of software out there that can take your mp3 files and turn them into a custom ringtone that WORKs for a branded phone.
I've tried bluetoothing a file some website converted for me but that didn't work.
 
Try this site. it lets you make the ringtone and then send it to your phone. not sure if it works for your model but its worked for me Make your own Free ringtones with Free ringtone maker by Bongotones
