My boyfriend and I have been together for a few years now, and just recently had a baby in the beginning of 2009. We have recently begun having financial struggles which is putting a lot of strain on the relationship. Whenever I mention maybe we should split, or say "maybe me and the baby should go stay with my parents, etc" he freaks out and says the baby isn't going anywhere, etc. It doesn't scare me, and he isn't the threatening type, but just the thought of not having my baby with me just kills me and scares the heck out of me. Could somebody give a little insight as to what might or could happen if we were to ever split up?
