Curve upgrade

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
I was one year and 10 days removed from purchasing the pearl. I was eligible for a full upgrade (299 less 50 mail in rebate). Might have something to do with the fact that I have 3 lines and spend 200+ a month. Now I have 4 lines too, since I ran over my curve with my car, and wasn't going to pay 449, so added a line and now have another 5 myfav's numbers and paid 299 less 50. Fun times!

see it does work...just spend $10 to add a line...then get whatever phone you want brand new for the new activation cost...then you try asking for the pay $50 = -1 year on contract deal...oh what a wonderful world

Im thinking about getting 2 Curves'- one for me and one for my GF. Think Tmo would offer any additional incentives/rebates around the Holidays?

Ive been with TMO for a really, really, really long time- Im sure my current contract is up, my GF has been with TMO give or take for 13-14 months.

ANY TMO CS's out there can offer some advice on the matter?

Thanks in advance.

What the tmobile here does is competitive price match. As long as the online site has a physical store front (walmart sams club) they will match it. Call ahead act interested and nicely ask if they do price match. Find u nice sales rep that will help u out. I'm not sure on prices on walmart but I have see ppl buy wings for free thanks to sams club.

Ps the curves rock!

If you're in a major metropolitan I'd suggest craigslist as well. densely populated cities have more to list than small towns in east bumbleF.

E.G.Good condition one being sold in NYC for $275 minus the box/accessories. Obviously you have to look in your own area since it's not smart to make a deal for shipping since you have nothing to guarantee they will mail it. I've had nothing but good stories with using craiglist. Small suggestions if you do decide to go that route:

-Don't be afraid to negotiate price. Be realistic, but firm. Don't expect to get a $400+ phone for 200 when it's brand new and very popular (back order for some), but depending cosmetic damage/lack accessories you can get closer to it. (you can replace just about any part at cnn.cn)

-Be sure to meet in a public, well lit place (you ARE meeting a stranger)

-Be sure to power it up and test all keys as well as put in your sim card, make a call and connect BIS through the phone's email setup to make sure the PIN has been released.

Where do you live? I'm here in LA, and i just found out on walmart's website that a curve is 100 bucks with a new 2 yr contract, and free after a rebate.

http://walmart.letstalk.com/product/browse.htm?pgId=100

How do i swing this the right way with customer service?

I have had Tmo and my pearl for 1 year. I recently dropped my phone in a parking lot, kicked it with my foot, and then it got ran over by a parking car. So if I upgrade to the curve and get the $100 partial upgrade do I have to extend the length of the contract?

just wondering if anyone knows how to change the roller ball light on the curve. thanks
