This has been on my HD for over a month but I just have not got around to hear it-sorry!
To be honest I never was a big fan of John's solo work. However I must admit I didn't listen to alot of his solo work. I have always been consumed with his guitar, so I thought I would give this CD a listen.
I think this might be the first of his CD's that I download...can't find it though. I really enjoyed it as a whole. My favorite song was control. What a random song, but I was jamming to it. The songs on the CD seemed to fit nicely with each other and it made it flow.

I just listened to John for the first time. I couldn't find much of the stuff you posted, but I heard some other songs, as well as a couple on your list; Anne and The Past Recedes. I like them all! Very upbeat, but with a melancholy twist that keeps it from being cheesy, especially the acoustic, and I think it's hard to find that balance. Very nice, and mellow. A wonderful listen
