--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi , My name is Briana and i was diagnosed with grade 1 spondiololisthesis advanced and progressive and dbd back in 1991 from car accident that 6 orthropidic surgeons have said was eccelerated by 70% due to the accident.Have you ever heard of this condition reversing it's self by just going to physio therapy or chiroprator, or swimming everyday alone or together , and no surgury?. Or is this completely impossible? I'm going to physio now and the therapist says he knows more than i do about my condition and how it effects anybody with this condition and that it can be reversed by staying away from any chiroprators and just swimming and his work to streghening of my core muscles by his work and regingment of excercizes he sets for me. I appoligize for my spelling , I hope you can make sense of this question and maybe suggest something or someone i can ask for assistance with this concern .

Thank You in advance

Briana

Have you had a recent MRI? A grade one spondylolisthesis is actually pretty good - it's when it advances further that surgery is often needed. I had surgery when it reached a grade 3 level and am glad I did. I don't know of any treatment that can reverse the slippage due to spondylolisthesis.

My last MRI was 4 months ago and they discovered the discs are breaking down and is pinching the nervses in the L4, L5 S1 on the right side abit and it was progressing to grade 2 and my bone deteriation has increased , I have got history of serious osteo in my family which is not helping the situation. I had a car accident in october 2008 that aggrivated the perallisis
