I'm not sure if it's one of the following:
wind, hydroelectric power, biomass, or nuclear ...
Hydroelectric power is way ahead of the other renewable sources. It is used by developing countries and developed countries alike. Nuclear power is a big producer in mainly developed countries and is not as widespread as hydropower. The others are still in the early stages of use.
