there is now a way to connect the 6131 thru ethernet, router.

look in the setup menu, then connectivity ,

Probably for transmitting PPV purchase info back to Bell instead of sending it by regular phone line.
 
I'm not sure of the Exact Date, but probably within last month. Unknown what changes were made.
NOTE TO BELL: In regards to the 9242, I noticed that there is no "MAIL" in the menu.
Has anyone ever got a "MAIL" over their system, It would be a good way to notify of changes, specials, etc. otherwise it should be removed from all receivers, to add memory for other features!
 
I have been with bell since Oct 31, 2003 and I have never gotten mail. Channel 271 says this months free previews well that refers to april. I think bell has probably laid off the person who's job it was to update that channel.
 
My 9200 updated to V223 today. Screen saver now displays help info same as 9242. Also, reminder box if you press a remote button other than Sat now comes up on the screen.
 
They bypassed version 666, probably too Evil, but went from 665 to E667 with no noticable changes. This software will probably be the same for the 5800 and 5900 PVRs as well.

Apparently 9241 has also gone to V236.
