Current event involving 1 of 3 US branches?

I need a current event to talk about in a speech involving one of the 3 US branches (Legislative, Judicial, and Executive). I need help finding a current event and relating it to one of these 3 branches. In the speech i need to give a nice description of the event, then start a class discussion with questions about the event and how it relates to the 3 branches.
