Below is a short but good answer. What happened to you has happened to my girlfriend in the past. Test said negative... but...

i've always been a little curious about and HPT... once in awhile I will hear the odd story that a friends mother took several HPT's that came out negative and discovered through a blood test 4 months later that they were pregnant... I'm just wondering how many people this happens to and how long after implantation bleeding would you get positive results on an HPT?.. i am about 2 months almost. and I found out through a blood test because all my tests showed negative on an HPT. so just wondering. thanks

They are very accurate when used correctly, not expired, not damaged or been exposed to the elements.

HPT's are made of the same chemicals and materials as the ones your doctor uses.

depends what kind your using.. they are about 60-70% accurate.. majority of the time.. there are a few pregnancy tests that are 80% but frankly people dont want to pay more for those good tests.. so yeah
