curious about army core of engineers?

I was curious about ace and what to expect. I was wanting to possibly train in that not sure which specialty yet though. are they pretty much deployed with the rest of army or do they go other places too like in other countries. is the deployment the same as rest or is it diff at all.
 
pretty much the same as the rest. every now and then they'll go on humanitarian missions but most of the time the navy is closer so they handle it.

have fun filling in pot holes in iraq.
 
zzz...oh what? Oh yea I remember. BORING!!!! Be a Combat Engineer and learn how to blow stuff up, not build some shithead's mud hut in B.F.E. You'll learn how to set up fortifications, go on demolition runs, set up booby traps, clear minefields all that good stuff. Not just make those assholes roads a little less bumpy.
