Culture: Are you liberal or conservative?

Alot of people always associate theirselves with a certain party (D or R), but don't know exactly why or what each party values/views stand for. So I was just curious on why you vote liberal or conservative.

Generally..

CONSERVATIVES - believe in personal responsibility.
LIBERALS - believe in governmental responsibility.
